with all the posts about Bond not knowing how money works and his sugar baby brattiness, i can't stop thinking about how Bond has been in institutions literally since his parents died. the mans went from boarding school to the military to special forces to MI6.

for conceivably the last thirty some years, he's lived in environments where he's told where to go, what to do, what to wear, what he's going to eat, etc. etc.

no wonder the idea of retirement is so terrifying; to suddenly lose all that structure and to have your routines disrupted by a plethora of Choices must be overwhelming.
